and welcome to my site. This is an evolving page, which I've been working on little by little as I get time. The snowfall is because I returned in winter from from Thailand where it was nice and warm, and I happened to be watching to snow fall as I look outside my window, thinking about the Thais I met who were fascinated with snow, which most had never seen.
History and Rationale
Given that the great new frontier of real estate is not, as many expected, outer space, but cyberspace, I've spent time looking at various domain names, and have watched with amazement as they have sprouted, no, grown like Audrey II in Little Shop of Horrors (and in much the same way, if you think about it, but it's not raining hard enough at the moment for me to wander down that path...)
A couple of years or so ago, I was looking at available domain names for a project/process I was working on, and some of the ones that had been taken I found absolutely amazing and stunning. On a lark, I put in the names of all of my family and of our up-north guests for the weekend ahead, and was amazed to find out that the only ones available were this one, and the last name of my sister's family (kiddon).
Given that my family is large and reasonably mobile, and that I'd just been forced to change my email address for the first time in a decade, I decided it would be a worthwhile investment to grab the appropriate domain name(s) and administer them accordingly, so my family members could have both a permanent email address of their choosing, I could have an easy way of remembering those addresses, and they could all have web pages if they so desired. Now, this seemed like a pretty good idea to me, but most of them have thus far been lukewarm about it, as they still intend to make my life difficult in tracking them down endlessly...
So, here it is. Just a beginning, and I'll make changes in the future, but this the starting point. I've thrown up a couple of small things for people to look at, as well, mostly pictures from my travels.
