Chiang Mai: Loy Krathong 2
These scenes are from the river at Choi Mongkon, a wat across the street from my apartment. During Loy Krathong it was packed with vendors selling food and krathongs, which are the little boats here, and with people coming in to make their offerings to the river goddess. Here some float downstream along a bamboo boom that guided them gradually out to deeper water.
